Raymond Bolton

Raymond Bolton lives near Portland, Oregon with his wife, Toni, and their two cats, Max and Arthur. He is endlessly curious about the world around him and what he can do while he’s still on it. Over the years he’s driven trucks, been an FM disk jockey, produced concerts, served as a mainsail trimmer on racing yachts, piloted gliders, written software, worked as a hair stylist and owned and operated his own business.

More recently, he has written award-winning poetry and has published five novels. Awakening, an other-world paranormal epic fantasy, which was initially released in January, 2014 as a self-published work, was hailed on BookViral.com as “a grand debut… [that] breathes originality into the genre.” It was re-released by WordFire Press in April 2017. Thought Gazer, the first volume of a prequel trilogy, was self-published in 2015. Like Awakening, it is also available through WordFire Press. Foretellers, the second volume, debuted on March 1, 2016. The trilogy’s conclusion, entitled Triad, aired January 1, 2017. Both are expected to be available through WordFire in 2019. Finally, in 2015, he had Awakening translated into Spanish, publishing it as El despertar on July 1, 2015 when it became Amazon’s number one new release in ciencia ficción.
