Though proudly raised on the Great Plains of Kansas, Brad Birzer is now a professor of history at Hillsdale College, Michigan. He is author of several biographies, he writes weekly and monthly columns for a number of web and print publications (commenting on things he doesn’t himself always understand), and he madly reviews anything new and brilliant in the prog and rock worlds. Birzer’s several biographies have been favorably reviewed in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, and in numerous national mainstream periodicals, as well as being nominated for a number of awards. When not writing, he’s reading, reading, and reading. He also loves being a dad, a chef, and a hiker. When he has the chance to visit the Rockies, very few mortal things have the power to stop him.
